’WHOMAN?’ ’Gender roles in societies’
The aim of the project is to get to know the changes of gender roles in each other’s culture, and their societal impacts. How does sexual integration effect the status of the families, does the loss of the traditional male and female roles draw a parallel to the growing number of divorces? How sensible are these changes in the different cultures?
Working in small groups with people of mixed nationalities, with roleplaying, discussions and simulation games we would like to present each other traditions and our situation in connection with the topic.
Our aim is to clarify the stereoptypes concerning the issue, to get to know, respect and accept each other, as well as finding ways to the resolving strategies of role conflicts.
Partners: Georgia, Armenia, Belarus, Latvia, Italy.
A Szakkollégium csereprogramot szervezett, melyet az Európai Unió támogatásával valósított meg a Fiatalok Lendületben című alapprogram keretében. A nyáron öt különböző országból érkező csoport látogatta meg Magyarországot, Szegedet. Vendégül láttuk Grúzia, Örményország, Fehéroroszország, Lettország és Olaszország fiataljait.
A csereprogram a társadalmi szerepek XXI. századi jelentőségét vitatatta meg több nézőpontból, például a család, a munkahely, az oktatás vagy a média kapott hangsúlyt. A színvonalas szakmai programok mellett megismertetettük vendégeinkkel az országot és a magyar kultúrát. A projekt megvalósításának idején nagy hangsúlyt fektettünk a helyi közösség bevonására.
